CHALLENGE
Since 2000, Ideas Foundation has been dedicated to helping move the creative, tech and communications industries in a more diverse direction. Ideas Foundation asked us to launch an initiative encouraging employers to open their doors to students from every walk of life (specifically those from backgrounds that are under-represented in the creative sector) who don’t normally get a look-in.
aPPROACH
This short film was produced by Matt Castle, and directed by Simeon Quarrie in 2018. Filming was completed at Chelsea and Westminister colleges, and at Ogilvy's HQ on Southbank, one of the UK's most established advertising agencies, where Ideas Foundation is based. The wider campaign gave a voice to those students who are full of ideas, who had both the most to offer, and the most to gain from a future in the creative sector.
ResuLTS
The campaign was launched and our film unveiled at Houses of Parliament in May 2018, at a prestigious event supported by some of the UK leading creative agencies, who share the vision to create more opportunities for disadvantaged (yet highly talented) young people from all over the UK.
